Wooden building block for establishing low building buildings
Abstract
Wooden building block for establishing low building buildings
Incoming article date: 13.04.2018The article presents an option hardwood building block manufactured from short-length sticks of lumber (slats). The wooden building block executed from the cut dried up, equal-caliber on length, width and thickness of boards on which width relief notches are executed. The block is assembled from a set of packages composed of vertically arranged boards of the same length, perceiving vertical loads. The boards are connected by a in the longitudinal direction of the lateral planes. Packages are connected to each other to form grooves and spikes along the length and at the ends of the block due to the longitudinal and transverse displacement of the packages relative to each other. Connection of packages between themselves is carried out by means of glue and/or other fasteners. Holes for fasteners are drilled in the connecting parts at a predetermined distance from each other in accordance with the diameter of these elements. This version of the construction block is obtained with high vertical load-bearing characteristics, withstanding increased horizontal loads in the longitudinal and transverse planes, allowing you to quickly and accurately set it in place in the longitudinal and transverse planes without the use of additional tools and devices, such as level, plumb, chipping cord, etc.One of the main advantages is the ability to manufacture blocks of lumber waste, which significantly reduces the cost of its manufacture. Production of the offered building blocks opens prospects of low-cost construction of low-rise constructions, both residential, and industrial use.
