The article discusses the use of reinforced polymer fibers in architectural and structural design of bridges on the example of structures in the Netherlands. The chemical structure of this material is presented - a polymer matrix reinforced with natural or artificial fibers. A brief historical background of the use of composite materials is given, a comparative analysis of structures made of new construction material and the traditional one is carried out. The problems and possibilities of this relatively new material are discussed. The variants of constructive solutions for the bridge construction of a new generation are proposed. The basic methods for the production of bridge components that meet aesthetic and economic requirements are described: the use of modular elements of the edges of the flooring, the construction of smart formwork and monocoque structures. The physicochemical properties of polymeric materials have been studied in detail, of which it is currently possible to manufacture reinforcement for bridges. In conclusion, the analysis of the effectiveness of the use of this material in architecture and construction over the past decades has been carried out and suggestions have been made about the future vector of the study and application of polymers.

The article presents a study of modern achievements in the field of 3D printing of buildings and building components. The introduction describes a brief history of this technology. 3D printing technologies, in comparison with traditional building construction technologies, can be considered as an environmentally safe derivative, giving virtually unlimited possibilities for the implementation of geometrically complex projects. This article described two types of technology, and also noted that Contour Crafting is a promising technology that can revolutionize the construction industry in the near future. A brief description of several examples of innovative use of 3D printing in construction is presented. At the end, conclusions were made, tips and predictions were given on the use of 3D printing technology.

The article discusses structural membranes as modern building materials used to form the facades of buildings and structures. Paper give their detailed characteristics, physico-chemical properties and conditions of use. Two types of composite material from which the membranes are made are described: textiles and foil, their components, individual characteristics, method of manufacture. Further examples of specific modern buildings facades analyzed performance properties of membranes isolated main advantages and disadvantages of this technology. In conclusion, the authors, on the basis of the research done, conclude about the advantages of using this material in the construction industry, as well as express their assumption about the development and new possibilities of its practical application.
