The article discusses the possibility of extracting bitumen from waste roofing and waterproofing materials. The main solvents are kerosene, carbon tetrachloride and chloroform. After the dissolution of materials in organic media, linear dependences of the amount of extracted bitumen on the temperature rise were established. The results obtained reflect the efficiency of using all considered organic solvents, the most active of which is carbon tetrachloride.
