Investigated the organizational and educational aspects of the promotion of convergent education in Southern federal university. The results and capabilities-proven multidisciplinary approach in training of specialists of high level. The necessity of forming the structure, processes and training programs of the NBICS specialists in the form of a transdisciplinary environment is revealed. It is shown that the latter is formed as a result of the coordinated integration of the environments for the formation of goals, implementation and resource support of the transdisciplinary educational program. The hierarchical nature formation for each of the environments was noted. Describes the hierarchy of objectives, reflecting the diversity and alternativeness of educational trajectories. Presents insourcing center, integrating the outsourcing potential in research and design of structures. The educational direction of the meta-environment of NBICS-convergence is defined.

It is shown that one of the most important elements influencing the nature of development in the region is socio-ethno-cultural landscape. The study of its characteristics suggests a wide use of methods of social simulation. The purpose of modeling is to estimate the required parameters in conditions of uncertainty, both at the planning stage and during the current administration. Theoretical solutions to this challenge are based on the use of the principle of duality, when the production and analysis of missing information about a managed object, in our case about socio-ethno-cultural landscape, the system is in the process of governance. The duality of the models appears in their dual role as research (for monitoring characteristics of socio-ethno-cultural landscape and, at the same time as the reference models for the management of development in the region. Need of approbation and problem integration of methods of the system analysis, social diagnostics and social and mathematical modeling which will make new scientific methodology of research is shown. To solve the problem of this level is proposed for effective convergence of methodological knowledge in the use of total potential informational, cognitive, and socio-humanitarian technologies.

Presents materials of the reports presented at the section "Technologies of modeling socio-cultural interactions in multi-ethnic regions" international scientific conference of young scientists "Actual problems of modeling, designing and forecasting of social and political processes in multicultural space of modern society". The organizer of the specified partition conference was organized by the North-Caucasian scientific center of higher school and the Department of modeling of social processes of the southern Federal University. The materials reflect the results of research of young scientists, postgraduates and undergraduates, obtained with the use of various aspects of model-based approach.

In article consider the development of modeling spatial spread of epidemics to improve the quality and accuracy of anti-epidemic situation using a combination of simulation model based on stochastic model of compartmental and cellular automaton. The epidemic is spatially distributed dynamical system to describe the spatial- temporal behavior of the application of models which class of cellular automata. Cellular automata are discrete dynamical systems, which is a collection of identical cells, the same way interconnected. All cells form, the so-called lattice cellular automaton. Lattice can be of different types, differing both in dimension and shape of cells. Each cell is a finite state machine whose states are determined by the states of neighboring cells. Cells can be placed on a one-dimensional line, plane or in a multidimensional space

In the article it is shown that the engineering professional abilities proved to be claimed, also, in the especially humanitarian divisions of the science: history, sociology, politologii, konfliktologii and other Which makes it possible to speak about the convergence of engineering methods and professional scopes of the specialists of humanitarian profile. The illustrations of the tendency of this change in the southern federal university are given. Are examined the most interesting aspects of the advance of engineering methods and tools in the humanitarian formation, in scientific studies and developments, conducted with the participation of scientists, specialists and the students of the North-Caucasian scientific center of southern federal university.

The paper approaches of different paradigms of simulation in the study of subsystems of modern society, including relating to the service sector - such as cultural complex, the regional scientific environment, the educational and innovation system. Examples of models appropriate social processes and systems are presented. Concluded that modern experts studying social processes (sociologists, conflict, political scientists) should be able to use the simulation.

It is shown that the simulation as part of the cultural complex social simulation developed within the general methodological trends inherent in sociology as a whole. To study the possibilities and patterns of cultural complex of the Rostov region (for example cultural complex in Rostov-on-Don), as a complex socio-economic system is the most productive synthesis of systems analysis, simulation of socio-economic processes and mapping method. The model, built with the help of a simulation tool AnyLogic 6, there are two levels of sub-system: the level of the model with a high degree of abstraction to model the interaction of people and the cultural infrastructure of the region - for implementation using multi-agent approach and the level of the model with an average level of abstraction for simulations Queuing (cultural needs of the population) at cultural complex. Based on the data obtained in the course of the experiment the number of dissatisfied cultural infrastructure remains about the same - about 16-17% of the total number of residents who use the cultural complex.
