During the harvesting of crops, a significant amount of straw residues is formed, which can be used as raw material for subsequent processing. To assess the volume of straw suitable for processing for various needs of the agro-industrial complex, it is proposed to apply the Lotka-Volterra method. Using this method, it is possible to predict the formation of straw residues depending on the initial indicators during harvesting.

Scientific research to determine the optimal combination of technical means in the system of cleaning and sorting seeds. We carried out a system analysis of the current state of technical means of cleaning and sorting. The main task of promising research and development work is the development of a high-precision computer-based seed sorter with an electron-optical analyzer of their properties, including the internal structure of seeds. The main result of the use of a complex of technical means of electron-optical cleaning and sorting of seeds in the selection and seed production of grain crops is an increase in their yield.

The analysis of research on the separation of rice seeds on new types of polymeric sieves showed the absence of regularities that provide the studied processes. There are no dependencies describing the effect of the kinematic parameters of the operation of the sieves on the intensity of the separation processes of rice seeds. We performed a system analysis of the sieves with different types of holes. In the work, mathematical dependences between the amplitude and frequency of oscillations are determined for swinging polymer sieves.

Based on the results of theoretical and experimental studies at FGBAC FNAC VIM, we conducted a system analysis of the existing gravitational grain cleaning machines and developed a prototype of a gravity-pneumatic seed-seeding machine (VIM-3). His laboratory (preliminary) tests were carried out. The general view, constructive and techno logical scheme of the machine are presented. The prototype of a cleaning machine can purify wheat seeds up to 99.5% by feeding the processed material up to 2.5 t / h with an impurity content of more than 80%, which corresponds to the category of OS and ES of GOST R 52325-2005, as well as to international norms .

A widespread technology with deep litter floor with broilers. Promising material for bedding are the straw materials. However, straw, held a simple reduction, does not meet the zootechnical requirements, in particular the recommended length of the cut should be 50 mm to 150 mm. Thus, there arises the problem of fractionation straw, obtained at harvest crops as waste. One of the main and most relevant and profitable areas of agricultural production - produce quality seeds in the farms, in the process of post-harvest grain processing. Was evaluated basic parameters of the separation process on the existing scheme sieve winnowing machine with certain technological characterization of the purified grain material according to the different conditions of separation, the possibility of defining a predetermined fraction of a feed and seed quality of purified material. Synthesis was performed variational various separation schemes and functioning to identify optimum operating parameters. According to the results of the experiment set technological possibility and the main characteristics of the process producing high-quality purified fraction of the material given by the scheme, which provides the best performance.

Seed damage has a negative impact on the subsequent development of the plant, its yield, and generally on the economic efficiency of grain production. Main percentage of the grains injury occurs in the post-harvest processes, particularly in the grain cleaning. One way of solving this aim is reducing of macro and micro damage of seeds by using of the new polymeric materials. Researches have been conducted to reduce the micro and macro of injury barley seeds (feed material) through the use of new sieves made of polymeric materials UHMW PE for agricultural machinery.
